Ahead Technology in collaboration with RG Freeman Group jointly developed a new course entitled “ITIL® & PM for Effective Service Management”. By combining the ITIL® expertise of Ahead Technology and the Project Management expertise of RG Freeman Group, this new 3-day “hybrid” course allows student to learn how to combine the ITIL® framework and the project management framework to execute IT Service Management with a higher level of Quality.

While ITIL® addresses how IT organizations should operate, PMP addresses how projects within the organization are executed. In this course you will experience how both frameworks rely heavily on process and the use of tools to enable consistent execution of processes. By the end of the class, students will be able to describe the ITIL® Service Management Lifecycle

• Be familiar with the PMBOK 9 Knowledge Areas
• Understand how the two frameworks are compatible
• Apply the Project Management framework to a Service management implementation
• Build a Roadmap to Service Management Deliverables.
