Nasser El-Batal – Chief Executive Officer

Mr. El-Batal is the co-founder, President and CEO of Ahead Technology; a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in the corporate world, IT Service Management Consulting, and a successful record of managing Information Technology Professional Services, IT Service Management Program and best practices Training and coaching deliveries. He is at ease with strategic, tactical and operational matters associated with the Information Technology industry.

Nasser has previously held the positions on Plastic Manufactory plant manager; IT Operation Management Services Manager, Project Manager (di Associates), Director of IT Services & Solutions (Constellation Integration Services) and Strategic Sourcing Consultant (SRS). Nasser is known for his client appreciation, business ethics, personal integrity and ITSM experience.

He is a member of ISACA and itSMF and has been elected as the representative of LCS’ North American ATOs sub-group advisory board to the ITIL® Qualification Board.

Marc Charbonneau – Chief Technology Officer

Marc is the CTO and original founder of Ahead Technology; he is a highly creative bilingual IT professional and curriculum developer who is continually striving to exceed expectations. Marc is well diverse in the IT industry and has been involved in ITSM for over 20 years in different supervisory and managerial roles related to Operations Management Services and ITSM at Digital Equipment of Canada and COMPAQ Canada.

Marc’s straight talking and pragmatic approach focuses on providing a holistic, practical and innovative perspective into the application and real business benefits of adopting Best Practices in IT Service Management.

Jerry Van Olst – Vice-President Business Development

Jerry joined Ahead Technology in 2009 and brings a wealth of experience in marketing and sales having spent 20 years in corporate education industry prior to joining the company. As Vice-President Business Development, Jerry is directly responsible for marketing and sales with an objective of accelerating revenue through the global expansion of our partners program, direct sales and increased brand recognition.

Jerry has over 20 years experience in the corporate education sector having held senior management positions including VP Business Development at Strategia, VP Eastern Region at Nexient Learning Inc. VP Business Development at GEVC Interactive, Co-founder/CEO at Northland Systems and General Manager at The PSC Group. Prior to his career in corporate education, he also worked at Bell Canada within various engineering and operations departments.

Jerry has been recognized as an entrepreneurial businessman and past recipient of Profit Magazine’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies. He is a 1978 graduate of Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology.
